Supporting you at a difficult time
Arranging a funeral: What do I need to know?
The first thing you need to know is that if someone has just passed away it is perfectly alright for you to call someone like a partner, friend or relative to be with you. You should give yourself time to let the situation sink in.
We know that it can be quite a shock realising someone you love has passed away, even if you were expecting it. Calling your loved one’s doctor may also be a good idea.
After that, calling us on 01842 761 333 and making a time to come in to our funeral home or for us to visit you in your own home, means we will be there for you with our special understanding to guide you through the process each step of the way. We will:
- gently guide you through all steps for the arrangement of a funeral service
- assist fully in obtaining all necessary certificates
- answer all of your questions, and
- be there to support you and your family through this emotional time in any way needed.
We commit ourselves to being there for you in your time of need and to looking after you and your family from start to finish and beyond.
We will ensure everything is taken care of, so that you can be there with your loved ones.
Our program of after-care assists families before, during and once the funeral service is over.
